Babywearing
For me, making the choice to babywear was easy. Then I started to research. I was quickly overwhelmed and had no idea where to go for help. Did I want a wrap? A ring sling? What the heck is an SSC? FWCC? How do I choose? What I wanted was someone to take my hand, walk me through everything and then say 'this is what you want, here you go'. My only option was to drive to a store, over an hour away and try on their limited selection.
A few months later, I discovered the Canadian Babywearing School and decided to attend their courses with plans to start offering the exact service I had once wished for. What does a consult include? When you book a babywearing consult, I come to you with a variety of carriers (different types, sizes and brands) and we work together to try them on and figure out what type of carrier works best for your family. Some types of carriers include:
Consults are available in Durham Region, York Region, Clarington and Eastern Toronto. Can I buy a carrier from you? I make it a point not to sell carriers so you know that my advice isn't biased by commissions or sales bonuses. I will however help you figure out where to buy them. Once you've select a carrier, I'll send you information on how to use your carrier so you always have it on hand. |
